Hi! I’m Charla. I received my education degree from ACU, and this site is where I share experiences plus tips and techniques gathered in my 20 years of teaching in Texas (plus 30 years of doing private tutoring and teaching children’s Bible classes).
Now, I’m a Special Ed teacher and love my students! I’ve also taught first and second grades (mostly first grade), students with learning disabilities in a Resource Room, Early Childhood, ESL students in a total ESL school, and Gifted & Talented students. Throughout the years, I have tutored nearly 50 students, ages ranging from four years old to college age. By sharing my experiences, maybe you can find something helpful to use in your teaching experience.
